Here is a sampling of projects RJM Heat Exchanger Inc has completed in the last few years

Generator Air Coolers for US Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston, South Carolina

RJM Heat Exchanger Inc supplied eight generator coolers for the St Stephen Hydro Plant. This type of cooler is considered to be a TEWAC, totally enclosed water to air cooling. The coolers were built to a test pressure of 150 psi and the fintube type is extruded aluminum. The inner tubes are copper-nickel 90-10, the tubesheet naval brass SB171 and the frame 304 stainless steel. ASME Section VIII Div. 1 approved pressure test for 75 psig for 1.5 hours. Welders and welding procedures were certified per ASME Section IX.

RJM Heat Exchanger Inc and its fabrication partner were subcontractors of Northrop Grumman and General Atomics in the building of the generator heat exchangers for the Navy's new Electromagnetic Launch System. EMALS replaces steam catapults because of its ability to launch more sorties per hour and places less structural stress on the aircraft. RJM supplied the original prototype heat exchanger units for the test unit at Lakehurst, New Jersey. The coolers were built to MIL-C-19836B.

Thrust Bearing Oil Coolers for US Army Corps of Engineers, Chief Joseph Dam Project

RJM Heat Exchanger Inc had manufactured, factory tested and supplied 204 new thrust bearing oil coolers for the Chief Joseph Dam project. The dam located in Okanogan County, Washington is the second largest hydropower producing dam in the USA. This type of oil cooler is utilized on oil reservoirs of large rotating equipment to control viscosity and reject heat. The oil cooler tube is made of 1.375 in x 0.065 in AW, copper SB-111C70600. ASME Section VIII Div. 1 approved pressure test of 130 psig for 1 hour.
